Dr. Chad White, MD, FAAFP 

Dr. Chad White is a family practice physician in rural West Texas. Dr. White was born and raised in Hamlin, TX and has strong West Texas roots. Along with his wife, and six kids, Dr. White lives in Hamlin.

Dr. White graduated from Hamlin High School. He began his college career at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX, where he would complete his Bachelors of Science. Soon after, he moved to Galveston and attended the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. White graduated in 1999 as a Doctor of Medicine. While living in Galveston, Dr. White would meet his wife of now 20+ years. Dr. White continued his medical education at Valley Baptist Family Practice Residency in Harlingen, TX, graduating and gaining his Board Certification in 2002. Later the same year, Dr. White moved back to Hamlin and started his practice at Hamlin Memorial Hospital and Medical Clinic. In addition to seeing in-patient and clinic patients, Dr. White filled various roles within the Hamlin Hospital District, most recently serving as the Medical Director.

Dr. White is very active, both in local community events, and statewide medical organizations. Dr. White graduated from the TMA (Texas Medical Association) Leadership College in 2013 and has served on various committees since. He currently serves as the Vice Councilor for District 13, on the TMA Board of Councilors. From a community standpoint, Dr. White is actively involved in First Baptist Church, working with the youth ministry, and fills the role of Chairman of the Deacons.

Dr. White enjoys practicing in West Texas and building relationships with each of his patients. His desire is to show the love of Jesus Christ through his work.
